I am going to try my best to keep this post short. I will try as much as I can to share more about my life – still not sure about that though.
As some of you may know, I officially started blogging two years ago and bam! I suddenly went into hibernation. I have had to answer numerous questions on why I stopped blogging, no answers or excuses were enough to convince my supporters or readers.
January 1st, 2018, It was confirmed, I was pregnant. This was the simplest explanation as to why I had slept off on so many posts that are still saved in my draft folder. My brain wasn’t functioning as it was supposed to. Then, I was finally inducted into the Hall of Procrastination. At some point, I said to myself, you can pick up from where you ended when the baby is here.
September 2018 came by so fast, and there I was holding the most beautiful works of God in my arms, saying to myself I can do this and all through Christ who strengthens me. Elle, on the other hand, kept saying “Good Luck” with that.
From waking up every hour in the first 4 months to feed the baby, and later every two hours and yes, I still wake up twice each night – to prepping for work by 6:30 am and sitting in traffic for an average of three hours each day, I just couldn’t feed my world with so much as I wanted. I didn’t even mention that I work full-time and I have to run my house and take care of my baby full-time too. I am still looking for where I can loan extra hours in a day.
At 1:30 am today, Elle woke up for her bottle of milk as her tradition says, unable to go back to sleep after that, I saw this as an opportunity for me to let you all know that we are beginning this journey all over again. I have come to realize, I have to keep pushing and if this post ends up in the draft again, then I tried at least. But if you get to read this, then I need your support to move on.
It’s been months of joy, love, and happiness with my Baby Elle, and I just want to make sure you all are part of my journey as I continue to express my passion for the things I love and do.
Stay tuned for more…
